Always a Sunny Side (Zenzo/Fauna)

Zenzo was walking back through the Land of Valleys. It had been several weeks since he had last been here, he had changed much since then. Not in an obvious manner, but his chakra levels had increased dramatically for those who could sense it. He dwarfed even most kage, even multiple kage all at once. Not to mention he had learned a few new jutsu that made him much more powerful. He felt that he had officially ascended to godhood at this point. He felt nothing for this landscape that he could alter or erase with less than a wave of his hand. He walked down the road though, as any mortal would. He, having achieved divinity, had no need to flaunt his powers now. No, he would take time to become used to his newfound power before he decided what to do with it.

It had been a while and even with a enhanced healing factor, it took a few days to properly fix her bones with the aid of the village's doctors that had medical ninjutsu. She had trained a new technique since then, but didn't want to strain herself too much from the first time she used three gates at once.

And so, the girl with the devil's blood took a walk back to the valley of the end.

"This is the third time I've been here within the span of, what, a month or so. Still, its nice to be up and about; won't do much good to sit around, especially if I want to find my father and get strong enough to find out what happened to him" She said soft to herself in a open thought.

Zenzo thought he heard someone speak so he turned and noticed that woman from before walking up. He recalled that interesting jutsu she had used and his ideas for replicating its effects. He wouldn't think about it long however, before he stopped walking and would observe her. She didn't seem to have noticed him, though he was walking just ahead of her. He didn't care much for what was on her mind, but he did think it was something to do with training based on what she had spoken out loud. He wasn't one to obsess over training, having been naturally gifted with a powerful body, he was however one to make sure all of his abilities were in their most perfect form. SO, he made sure to practice them daily. He would wait for her to walk closer to him before deciding what to do. She would have to pass right by him at her current gait, he would wait until then.

She was in thought, although she then noticed who was on the path ahead of her. Zenzo; the guy that tried to kill her to find out what her technique was and once he was finished, simply left. She was wary of him and, although walking down the path, kept her distance from him.

"So, the heartless god returns; what do you want?"

Zenzo looked at the woman as she spoke to him with obvious disdain. He bit his lip softly as he held back the hunger that welled up in him at the smell of her flesh. She was close now and he wanted nothing more than to rip her to shreds and feast on her body. She was lucky he had the mental fortitude to hold himself back, or she would likely already be dead. Shaking his head he would respond to the mortal, "I go where I please. I have no need to explain my reasoning to a lesser being." He said it with no real emotion in his tone, why would he? He had ascended beyond her comprehension, he didn't need to feel even offended by her demand of a question.

"Lesser being? really? for a "god", your not very good at helping people, are you? all you are is someone with some powerful jutsu and its gone really, really to your head. Like I said before, you have everything but the heart of a god, it is something you are sorely lacking, Zenzo" She tells him, once again referring to the heart of a god.

"Maybe one day, you might understand what that is" She said as she turned to leave.

Zen would listen to what the woman said. The insolence she showed was truly something beyond his comprehension. As one who had truly ascended to divinity, how could she speak to him in such an arrogant manner? "You believe that simply because I have attained a divine status, that it is my duty to protect you humans?" The term 'humans' came out with obvious distaste. "You are like ants to me. Are you honestly so naive to believe that the gods look down on you and dream up how to help you? Do you look to use your meager powers to aid the insects that crawl beneath your feet?" His speech became slightly more heated at points, showing that he had grown annoyed at her obvious immaturity.

She could hear the disdain and annoyance in his voice, trying to resist a laugh at this from the self-proclaimed "god" of this world.

"Zenzo, I think your missing a key piece of information: you are not a god, you are just another of us "ants" as you put us, only you find the throne and sat on it and believe yourself god. I do not believe in gods nor the existence of such beings; simply people who got power and want to rule the world. You are nothing special and, oh yes, there are beings out there who power resolves around helping insects, even calling on them for aid in battle, so maybe try saying that again. But, as much as I enjoy listening to the ranting of a insane twit, I have better things to do then to speak to some "god" who has forgotten basic manners and forgot what a heart is. Good day to you, Zenzo" She said as she began walking away, treating him as if he was insignificant, even though she knew that in terms of power output, he had the winning hand, yet she was honest both in what she said and in her conviction that a god without a heart is only one doomed to be alone and most likely, killed by the very ants they despise.

Zenzo would scoff at the woman, speaking to one of divine presence as he. It did intrigue him actually, more so than it angered him. What did this woman possess that would allow her to be so adamant about his lack of divinity. Did she require proof of his godhood? Is that what brought her to lack faith in him? He would pick up a rock and then would toss it into the air, causing it to break apart into dust using his atom release, but then, he would activate Garuda. The dust would form into a massive dragon with fiery red scales and large horns on its head. It would land behind Zenzo, looking down at the two shinobi before bowing its head to its master. "Do you not believe in my power, mortal? What causes your disbelief?" He was genuinely perplexed by her lack of interest in what he had to say.

She originally didn't turn as he throw a rock into the air, blasting it into dust. It was the roar as he transformed the dust into a large red dragon, roaring as it landed before bowing its head towards Zenzo. The man seemed interested as to why she did not believe in his power nor why she would not bow to him or acknowledge him as such.

"Are you deaf, Zenzo? for a self-proclaimed god, your awfully bad at keeping track of details. I already told you before: I do not deny your power; considering you managed to withstand and fight against three releases of the eight inner gates with my lesser aura active and just a general feeling of your chakra levels are quite impressive. But as I said before; power alone does not make you a god; only a fool would believe such a claim. I mean, for a parlor trick, using dust to trigger a summoning jutsu for a dragon isn't bad, but I think your getting ahead of yourself, calling that godly power when most shinobi around chunin can do that" She says to him simply; there was no fear in her voice, even at her own admittance that his level of power and chakra levels were beyond her, yet she stood defiant of him and his claim of being a god.

"Besides, if we truly wish to discuss gods; if you claim to be one, yet you demand worship and take as you please. This world does not need a god that only takes as they are gods of death who leave a trail of blood and bodies in their wake like many before you, Zenzo. For a god without a heart, I cannot respect nor acknowledge such a god of death as it is not a god worth anything besides completely destruction. Besides, in many tales, typically, devils are usually ones who stand in opposition and as you know from our last encounter; the blood of the devil runs in my body, so maybe take that into consideration that maybe it is my very nature to defy the will of god and make my own fate. Maybe if you possessed a human heart that knew the feelings of others, knew love, happiness, compassion and humility, maybe then I can learn to at least respect you as a person" She says to him, for now, she stops walking away, waiting for his response as he seemed to have taken a interest to her.
