Onwards and Upwards! [P]

Shizune decided that it was time to finalize her training in medical ninjutsu. She was knowledgeable from all of her studies, but she hadn't any actual skills in the field, but she was chock full of information regarding anatomy, human physiology and the way that the body interacts together with other things. She had decided to take a break from her seal research to begin working on learning some more about medical ninjutsu. She had rented several advanced level books on the subject matter in question to begin reading and understanding, even some covering theoretical techniques and things of that nature. She read of one of the most common techniques, the Mystical Palm, which allowed one to heal the body by speeding up the natural cell growth, done by using medical chakra to stimulate the mitochondria within cells to power growth and reproduction.

The next jutsu that she read about was known as the Chakra Scalpel. It was a rather simplistic technique that required high amounts of chakra control and precise knowledge of human anatomy. It was used to preform non-invasive surgeries on patients that require no medical room, no preparation and very little anesthesia. Though, as far as combat was concerned it was practically useless. A skilled shinobi might could use it somewhat effectively, but it required high amounts of concentration and chakra control to use in such a manner due to the methods in which it was created. It was a purely supplementary jutsu with no real design to be offensive, but she did get ideas and wrote them down in her notepad. Something that could use a less refined control to turn this into a more combat oriented technique. Obviously one wouldn't want to use the version she had in mind during surgery, but that was not its intention anyways, so it didn't matter.

The next jutsu she had to read about was one that relied on creating a poisonous mist to weaken and then incapacitate a target. It was created using the users chakra and then extensive knowledge of different chemicals and their effects on the body. One was able to convert their saliva into a poisonous chemical and then further into an almost gaseous state to be sprayed from the mouth in a purple mist. This mist could be designed to actually poison in the traditional sense, where it would basically eat them alive from the inside out, it could also be used to bring about paralysis, muscle atrophy or even simply lulling the target into unconsciousness. All it took was a little time, effort and a mind that had the ideas working to make such things happen. She would probably learn it for a rainy day, though she hoped to never have to rely on such techniques. She hoped to rely on the seals she had or the taijutsu she was able to master. Her only wish was to be strong and a powerful kunoichi for the village, she wasn't much, but she would be the best Fuinjutsu Specialist in the world.

The next thing she decided to work on writing down ideas for would be a custom seal that would combine the foundations of the mystical Palm into a chakra storage seal. The application would allow one to store medical chakra for a later date, thus allowing one to heal themselves on the go in battle. And, using the proper algorithm, she would be able to do something along the lines of what she had worked up for the training dummies in the training area. Theoretically, as long as there was a single cell remaining of a person, she would be able to nurture growth and thus, allowing one to heal from any wound almost instantly provided that the seal had chakra to run off of. Though, this design would still take more time, but the important thing was that she had the idea down! She would then work on writing up ideas for both compartmentalized seal design that wouldn't take up much space on the body but could also function properly, either way, it was certainly something to tinker with in her workshop.

Finally, she would look into something more recent on her list of techniques. The Eight Inner Gates. They granted their user a massive boost in power, but also a great danger to the body. Her initial thought was simply to heal herself with the seal she had been thinking of, but that would drain vital chakra that she may need at a later date. What if she were able to remove that flaw entirely, make it so there was a form of the gates that allowed her access to that great boost in ability while also healing her and revitalizing her body instead of dealing it damage? She would have to work long and hard to come up with such a jutsu, but she was certain that such a thing would be in her grasp soon enough should she keep working with her current zeal and tenacity. She had come a long way in a short amount of time and was no doubt one of the strongest ninja in the village aside from the Otokage of course, as she was known as an extremely powerful woman and Shizune's role model.
