The Sensei Watches Her Students Grow

Back in the academy, Fufu thought that her looks were the best thing she had going for her. She rejected the practices of her clan, so training the Byakugan never truly interested her. Because of this, training under Fauna-Sensei in the Art of Seduction was one of the classes she enjoyed and focused on the most, even if it made her a bit... well, uncomfortable at times, considering it was an all-female class and she found these females extremely attractive, unlike most of the girls who were straight. Recently, however, Fufu's mentality changed. She knew and understood that seduction was one form of power, but she needed to obtain others if she were to truly be capable of protecting Sera, her newly adopted infant daughter. Fufu was only 17 herself, but the baby needed someone... and Fufu was responsible for her parents' deaths. It was her duty.

She shook from that mindset as she arrived at the academy. She had remembered that Fauna-Sensei was rumored to be one of the village's elite Taijutsu specialists, who, like Fufu, enjoyed blending Taijutsu and Ninjutsu together flawlessly. Because of this, Fauna-Sensei was Fufu's first priority in a teacher when it came to practicing with her Byakugan. She only hoped it was not a waste of time for her Sensei, and that there would be something she could gain from it as well. After all, Fufu had grown a lot, and Fauna-Sensei would surely be impressed by her progress. She arrived at Fauna-Sensei's office rather quickly and automatically. She'd only been at the Academy for a year and had progressed far faster than most students, but she spent much of that time in Fauna-Sensei's office for advice. She knocked on the door rather obnoxiously loud. "Fauna-Sensei!! It's me, Fufu!"

Fauna was in the teacher's officer, writing up the reports from today's lessons. She was happy that many were progressing well, even Fufu, who although a lesbian by nature, still did her best in her lessons and happy she understood that as a female ninja, seduction techniques could be as strong as any jutsu one could learn and as females, they were especially good at it.

She had just finished filing the reports away when she heard a knock at her door and heard Fufu's voice calling for her; a very familiar voice from the much time the young girl spent with her in her office after hours. She stood up and opened the door.

"Afternoon Fufu, how can I help you?" She smiled sweetly as she looked at the pale, white-haired girl for what sort of plan she had today.

Fufu had gotten a good night's sleep for the first time in days, and as a result looked quite fresh and felt rather bubbly. And, now that Fauna's office door was open, Fufu's Byakugan would be visible. She was almost vibrating with excitement. She felt somewhat comfortable with Fauna-Sensei, as she always gave off a rather welcome air. Well, most of the time. There were rumors... "Fauna-Sensei! I uh... so, lately, I've had a change of heart. I've come to the realization that I need to be skilled in many areas in order to be a truly strong Kunoichi. So, I was thinking... I'd like to practice my Byakugan! I don't think there's a better way to do that than just by practicing using it during a fight, so would you spar with me?" Fufu spoke rather quickly and nervously. It hadn't been that long since she'd graduated, but still, it was odd coming back to the academy to be trained by an academy teacher.

Fufu had made miles of progress since she'd graduated, but she still had lightyears to go. Quite honestly, part of the purpose of her request for a spar was to show Fauna-Sensei how far she'd come in these few short months. She was an entirely new person, but her family didn't encourage her because she'd rejected their practices for so long, and there was a chance Fauna knew about that, but Fufu didn't really talk about it. Still, for someone as perceptive as Fauna, it would be easy to figure out Fufu's ulterior motive for the requested training session.

Fauna listened careful to Fufu's explanation that she wanted to train her Byakugan and have a spar with her to practice its use. Fauna knew she was a Ootsutsuki so they possessed many dojutsu and her explaining that she had a change of heart about training it told Fauna much as she was aware that Fufu hadn't always been the most...interested in her clan's afairs and techniques, but she figured that as well as training to show Fauna how far she had come in the past few months, it was a way to train it without being seen by her clan members as a way to start getting used to all the techniques she had at her disposal.

"Of course, Fufu, I'd love to; I'd in fact finished the reports for the day so I'm free, shall we had to the training ground in the academy?" She asked as she stretched as there was something that if Fufu was going to go all out, she had something else she was meaning to try out: training to unleash the next gate and continuing to push the limits of her body so she could fight those that would harm people close to her and the little ones she taught, even Fufu.

Fufu smiled broadly. "Yes, milady, that'd be fantastic!" The feeling of warmth emanating from Fauna relaxed Fufu in a way that she had not been since the attack of the Hachibi. She'd follow Fauna to the training grounds, making idle chit-chat along the way, mostly concerning the village restoration efforts from the Hachibi's attack. Once they arrived, Fufu would make it a point to stretch well. Injuring herself now would be catastrophic to all the progress she'd been making recently, and she refused to allow herself to be stunted like that. Fufu had recently begun training her Hachimon, but she would likely refrain from using them this fight. That'd go against the entire principle of avoiding longer-term injury. That said... if she was forced to, she might open the first gate.

"Then let's get going" She said as they headed down, making idle small talk about the restoration to the village as they headed below the academy to a underground training area, untouched from the eight tails attack and as they arrived, she also stretched, clicking her neck and making sure to get the stiffness out her joints. Once she was done, she'd look at Fufu and took a breath.

"Right then, I believe we should get going, no time like the present" She said before running straight for Fufu; she'd try some standard stuff to loosen up, then go into her usual methods once she got a idea of how Fufu used the Byakugan.

She decided to go with Severe Leaf Hurricane to test Fufu's visual ability as she came forward, going for a hard low kick first, then rapidly proceeding towards a kick to the gut that would hit her up into the air before going to a high jump kick, kneeing her up more before ending up jumping upwards and ending with a heel kick, planting the point of her heel into Fufu's chest if she didn't avoid this with her dojutsu. Her idea was never to put Fufu into too much harm...yet, but she had to put Fufu in a position to make her use her Byakugan.

Fufu's Byakugan was the same now as the day she was born. She'd refused to use it most of her life, so when she used it now, she was by no means an expert. When Fauna-Sensei blitzed her, it was an odd phenomena. She fount it rather easy to track the movements of her teacher and to parry them with almost no danger to herself, but simultaneously, Fauna was moving too quickly for Fufu to be able to launch a counter-attack. Thus, she felt completely safe and completely overwhelmed at the same time, raising her foot so Fauna's low kick missed, and stepping back so that the kick to her gut missed. Knowing she'd have no time to defend and then attack, Fufu resorted to creating some distance for herself. On the third jumping kick, Fufu would use Shove Impact to parry the blow with her left palm. Though Fufu wasn't all that strong, when using jutsu that involved the use of her rather enormous chakra pools, her strength was artificially boosted by quite a bit. With very little time to actually react, it was likely that Fauna-Sensei would be launched at least a few meters back, giving Fufu time to recover... and her Byakugan would progress to its C-Rank version.

Fauna was in a way, relieved that Fufu blocked her attack since she wasn't too sure how she was going to respond since as far as Fauna knew, this was her first time using her Byakugan. She fended off her kicks and when she came up, she used a strike that shoved her backwards. It took her a little bit to regain her balance as her heels dug into the ground to stop herself going back any further.

"Good Work, Fufu, right, time to see how well your eyes do when we up the ante" Fauna explained before red lightning surged around as she prepared to enter her go-to jutsu in a fight and as the lightning shot around her, causing her pigtails to float up, forming horns and a small lightning tail behind her, she took up her fighting stance again.

"Lightning Style: Lesser Aura of the Lightning Devil" She said before she shot forward, her speed enhanced by the jutsu and this time, she was going to see how well she dealt with multiple attacks at once and as she came towards Fufu, she started punching at Fufu with her 100 flashes of thunder, the movements fast enough that it appeared as she was punching with multiple fists at once, if some hit, it would cause Fufu to experience muscle spasms, reducing her moment down as if suddenly getting jolted.

Fufu's Byakugan allowed her to see every facet of her sensei's attacks. She was baffled by the idea that she had never had the wisdom before to train the ability, as even since she'd been using it today, she'd already gotten better at it. Not confident in her ability to keep up with her Sensei's sheer speed, the moment Fauna begun to move toward Fufu again, she'd immediately jab at the air to use her Repulsive Strike, reluctant to allow Fauna to close the distance. An invisible shockwave of force would propel from Fufu's fist as she literally punched the air so hard it was condensed into a blast, a feat of pure Taijutsu. Coming from Fufu, this technique was extremely dangerous, but she had full faith in her sensei and her ability to dodge an attack from Fufu, even though she had chakra that rivaled that of the Tsukikage's own.

The blast she used before came for her again, although she wasn't exactly one to fall for the same thing twice and as the blast hit, she'd disappear in a puff of smoke, leaving behind a black and red stuffed cat in its place as the jutsu blew the stuffed animal into pieces, Fauna appeared besides her and continued with her attack that aimed to stun Fufu's body to slow her down; it wouldn't be enough to stop her moving completely, but would cause lightning to surge in her muscles and cause spasms that would hopefully prevent her from using that technique she used earlier.

Fufu was never unimpressed to see her sensei's skillful movements, and she was glad she'd chosen such an apt training partner to practice her Byakugan with. Speaking of her Byakugan, if it were not active, her Sensei would have appeared in her blind spot and Fufu would have been done for. Instead, the moment Fauna appeared, Fufu would stomp at the ground, creating an impact with the air about an inch above the ground, and hurtling at blinding speeds into the air. She moved so fast, in fact, that she was not just a few feet in the air, but rather a few stories. She had chosen not to wait for her Sensei to show what attack she had in store for her because if she did, she was not entirely sure she'd be able to dodge it. It was, in fact, much safer to act immediately.

Fufu was a smart girl, no denying it as Fufu used one of her air pressure techniques to make a kick that blew her away and forced Fauna to move out the way or get caught in the impact as her fists came down, cracking the floor with lightning as she stood up and looked at Fufu.

"Good move, you used that technique to blast yourself away, dodging my attack, it's good work. For that, I'd best take this to the next level so I suggest preparing yourself" She said softly as she took a breath as she looked at Fufu as she focused on activating the first gate, one of two located in the brain.

"First Gate: Gate of Opening, Open" She said and Fufu would easily see with her Byakugan the area in her brain light up where the first gate was before her body release a bucket load of chakra and the lightning aura around her surged.

"Alright Fufu, here I come" She said before shooting forwards, deciding to move from side to side to reduce Fufu using that air blast technique again. Once she was close enough, she would bring her foot upwards to kick Fufu into the air and then use the shadow of the dancing leafs to appear behind her in the air. Then, using the black bandages around her arms, she wrapped around Fufu before spinning them around rapidly, aiming towards the ground.

"Primary Lotus" She called out before she would pile drive Fufu into the ground with her flipping off from her at the last second, landing on her heels as she panted slightly.

"Did that work?" She wondered to herself as she looked to see how Fufu was or looking around to see if she had managed to escape.

Fufu used her Byakugan to track Fauna while she, and Fauna very soon after, was in the air. When she saw that Fauna's trajectory was headed to behind her own self, Fufu prepared her attack. She would kick at the air, now in front of her, as hard as she could, performing Air Kick once more, and timing it so that the moment Fauna arrived behind her, Fufu would collide with her at full-force, thrashing her head backward in an attempt to headbutt Fauna since her Byakugan allowed her full vision of her surroundings. In order to protect herself from damage, she would be forced to use her Hardened Aura, reinforcing the durability of her head and back so that her brain didn't splatter against her skull and kill her.

It seemed Fufu was more then capable of dealing with the situation as she used her kick to shoot forwards as she prepared to wrap her up in her bandages for the primary lotus, aiming to head butt her. Not having much choice, she twisted her body to come around side Fufu and in those moments, mentally switched from first gate, all the way to third gate as Fufu with her 360 degree vision, could see her skin turning as red as a oni and with her aura, that probably wasn't far off. She would then attempt a punch, using her longer reach to press her gate enhanced fist into Fufu's back and use her own momentum to slam her into the ground before coming down with a heel kick to her back that would probably cause the ground to break up and leave a crator if Fufu didn't get out the way in time.

Because of Fauna's superior speed and strength, it was all Fufu could do to simply keep her Hardened Aura active during Fauna's onslaught. There was a chance Fufu could keep up if she opened some of the Gates herself, but she knew that would stunt her training and was opting away from that idea. Instead, since all of Fauna's attacks were concentrated on Fufu's back, her Hardened Aura ate the damage, and after the last kick tore the ground apart, Fufu would roll to her feet unscathed. That's the Fourth Gate! I knew Fauna-Sensei was awesome! That's the highest one I can do...

Fufu opted not to mount her own attack. If she was purely on the defensive, she'd be able to manage with defending again'st Fauna's basic Taijutsu, but with Fauna's superior speed, there'd be no way Fufu could defend herself from a counter-attack. Instead, she stood and waited, sizing her opponent up. "You're definitely gonna be feeling this fight in the morning, huh?" It was true... the Fourth Gate tore Fufu's body apart when she was training to learn it, and she'd refused to use it since. She decided that it was off-limits unless it was a do or die situation.

Fauna panted, watching as Fufu got up, unphased by any of her attacks and she could sense the jutsu she was using as she could sense her body was releasing chakra at the points where she struck, absorbing the otherwise brutal damage that a eight inner gates' user would deal. She stepped back as Fufu said she would be feeling this fight later, to which Fauna shock her head.

"You've much to learn about me if you think the gates is going to slow me down, far from it dear, let's just say I have a secret that allows me to use the gates more...freely then others" She explained, being slightly cryptic, but in truth, was referring to her ability to regenerate from her injuries, meaning although the gates damaged her, their impact on her body was less since the black blood already worked to repair damage done to her body by the gates once they were over. In any case, she knew base attacks weren't going to break Fufu's defense, that was fairly obvious, the manner was how to to get through it. She then thought of a plan and using the strength of the gates, she ripped into the ground and lifted up a large boulder with both hands.

"Let's see if you can dodge this, dear Fufu" She said before using her enhanced strength to chuck it at Fufu. Although she was fully away Fufu was more then capable of shattering the boulder with ease, but that's was what Fauna was counting on as she would use the boulder as a visual distraction as she performed the lightning style: shadow clone jutsu, summoning two clones, already enhanced by the gates and her lesser aura and had them run either side of Fufu, chidori already prepared in their right hands and ran straight, aiming to pin Fufu down. If Fufu either destroyed the clones or dodged them, then her final part of her plan came in as she would come in, arm raised as it coursed with lightning, aiming for Fufu's chest and slam her into the ground with lightning style: Lariat. Once hit, Fauna would slam her into the ground, further rupturing the area from the strike and hoping the strike was hard enough to break through Fufu's defensive jutsu.

"They sure as hell slow me down..." Said Fufu. Fauna-Sensei really is something else, if she's able to use the Gates more often... Were she not in a sparring session, she'd have spent some time right then trying to figure out what she herself could do to bypass the ill effects of the Gates, rather than her previous mentality of using very selective discretion when opting whether to use them.

Fufu's Byakugan made her fully aware of the flanking Shadow Clones formed by Fauna, as well as Fauna's mounting attack. "A distraction, huh...?" Fufu wouldn't have time to individually dispatch the clones, deal with the flying boulder, and defend herself from Fauna. Her only option, then, would be to concise with her movements and deal with it all in one movement.

"So much for not using this..." thought Fufu, as she opened the Gate of Opening, and her physical attributes increased exponentially. Just as lightning coursed across Fauna's arm, so would it course across Fufu's. The two would perform mirroring Lightning Release: Lariat techniques, Fufu launching herself directly through the boulder in the air and at Fauna, shattering the boulder in a million pieces. She'd hoped that with her Byakugan's ability to see through solid objects, she'd be able to pinpoint Fauna's movements and still conceal her own until she busted through the barrier.

This attack also had the added purpose of dodging the clones closing in from either side of her, and she'd hope that she was able to time it well enough to cause them to slam into each other and dissipate. At the last second, unless Fauna changed tact, Fufu would perform her Hardened Aura ability again, guarding against where Fauna's Lightning Release: Lariat hit in an attempt to simply brute force her, though, to her surprise, Fauna's chakra would have increased enough that it'd overpower her Hardened Aura, and it'd simply become a Lariat versus Lariat clash. During this epic woman on woman explosive confrontation, Fufu's Byakugan would evolve to the B-Rank version.

it was indeed impressive pulling off what Fufu did as she came forwards, using the very technique she was to counter it. Fortunately, even though Fauna couldn't see as well as Fufu could, her benefit were the clones, which, thanks to their mental link, gave Fauna enough heads up to aim properly so their attacks clashed as she felt her fist break through the defense and ended up with their fists colliding heavily, causing waves of Fauna's red lightning and Fufu's normal lightning to surge all over the place and from the sheer power Fufu produced in her punch and the large rise in her chakra, Fauna could tell that Fufu had been training to use the eight inner gates too, a impressive feat for most taijutsu practitioners. Fauna, acting to act quick as to not be overwhelmed, had her clones turn their chidori hands towards Fufu and then, broke away from the clash with a blast before having the two clones fire their chidori sharp spears at Fufu, hoping to use the knock back to get Fufu pieced upon the spear of lightning that the clones aimed at her.

"It's impressive, Fufu, but not going to make this easy on you" She explained as her feet hit the ground, tearing it up from the force as she looked up to see how Fufu fared against her chidori sharp spear.

Fufu took note of the interesting effect that opening the first of the Hachimon had on her Byakugan. It seemed that it empowered her other jutsu as well, even her Lariat. She hadn't actually used any other jutsu when she used the Hachimon during her training, and was pleased to find out about this extra detail, and as a slight side note, hoped that it didn't come with any extra side effects. To even get permission to train the Hachimon by her Jounin sensei, Fufu was forced to only train it when medical ninja or hospital doctors were nearby to help in case of her pushing herself too far.

That train of thought, however, was interrupted and she was sent rocketing backward by the colliding force of the Lariats, barely managing to land on her feet and keep her balance with her feet slamming into the soil beneath her and skidding, creating ruts. Her Byakugan kept her aware of Fauna's clones' whereabouts and their next incoming attack, but it was so rapid that she simply did not have enough time to fully act. Instead, she bent at the waist, ducking and extending her palms out in either direction in the form of two palm strikes, firing two Repulsive Strikes, one aimed at each of Fauna's clones. Because of the reach of the attacks and Fufu's inability to react quickly enough, two moderately sized gashes would open, one on the back of each of her shoulders, where the modified Chidoris struck but with only glancing blows.

If her attacks were successful, she'd speak and take guard, but if not, she'd stay aware for when the clones attacked again after dodging her abilities."Oh, this hasn't been easy from the start! But it sure has been fun." She mused, beginning to feel the soreness impressed on her by the Hachimon, and a small amount of blood seeped through her shirt.

Fauna was definitely impressed by Fufu's quick thinking, even under these conditions as they were both blasted back by the sheer force created by their lightning style: lariat and her clones, using her momentum and knowing that she was limited in her ways to dodge out the way, the chidori sharp spear found its mark, piecing through her shoulders, although it seemed Fufu wasn't out of moves yet as she fired more of those air blasts, getting rid of the clones before they were able to apply shape transformation to the chidori sharp spear, unknowing sparing her from even more damage, but she hadn't gotten out of it unscathed as she was bleeding from the shoulders and although still able to take up a guarding position, she could tell that her body was straining, even at gate one. Fauna herself didn't really have this issue with the black blood's healing factor, but she could imagine that it was tiring Fufu out, but if anything, she had to admire Fufu's spirit.

"You've come a long way since a few months ago, Fufu; even in your current condition, managed to take out my clones before they could do some serious damage to you and your resolve and fighting spirit is a beautiful thing. As to respect your resolve, I will continue to push myself even further and reach the next stage, I hope your ready Fufu since your going to be the first one to see this" Fauna explained before she crossed her arms as chakra started pouring out of her again as Fufu, using her Byakugan, could see the fourth point along her spine flash and burst open.

"Fourth gate: gate of pain, open!" She called out before the lightning around her burst at a even faster rate, her skin turning a darker shade of red, giving her a truly demonic looking appearance.

"Alright Fufu, here I come" She said before shooting forwards at a blinding speed, the ground tearing up beneath her as she dashed side to side like before bring her foot around for a incredible fast spinning back kick, known as the leaf strong wind and aimed straight for Fufu's gut; this was the least she could do for Fufu after she had come so far, it felt only right she gave it her all too.

Wow... Fauna Sensei's mastery over the Hachimon is more impressive than mine, too... It was true. Fufu may have already learned to access the Fourth Gate, but she couldn't use it efficiently. If what Fauna said was true and she could use the Hachimon more often, she was already miles ahead of Fufu. Fufu couldn't really use the Hachimon outside a 1 on 1 fight because she'd be physically exhausted after dealing with one opponent and the rest would just shred her to pieces. And... well, how often would a ninja be in that position? During her train of thought, Fufu would feel her Byakugan evolve yet again to the A-Rank version, and at this point, she was quite pleased with herself with the progress she'd made, and she'd hoped Fauna-Sensei would have noticed and approved.

"Bring it on, sensei!" At this point, Fufu was pretty much just all talk, but she wouldn't let Fauna know that. It was true, however, that Fufu could not take much more. Sure, she could progress the Gates as well, but she'd be out of commission for weeks afterward if she did so, and to her, it quite simply wasn't worth it. Fauna's blitz was so fast that Fufu had time enough to merely step back. She wouldn't fully dodge Fauna's kick to her gut, as though she managed to outpace the blow itself, the very wind that came off it slammed into Fufu, sending her flying about fifteen meters away, uncontrollably backflipping at least four times before managing to land a back hand spring and flip to her feet. Were it not for her Byakugan and its immense power, there was absolutely no chance the girl would be continuing to keep up.

Fauna looked at Fufu manage to just avoid her kick, although the sheer force of the whirlwind caused by it blasted her back, although she managed to recover nicely, but Fauna felt it was about time to end this.

"Impressive work, you've done well to work with your Byakugan in such a short space of time, although it's about time we ended this, it's about time we finished this" She said before shooting forwards with a kick aimed straight at Fufu's gut, kicking her into the air before tearing the floor up as she zipped around as rocks were kicked up around Fufu before Fauna zipped to each one, punching Fufu repeatedly before finishing above her, using her bandages to wrap Fufu up before tightly pulling Fufu upwards towards a heel kick she would bring down against Fufu's gut.

"Hidden Lotus" She called out before kicking Fufu straight into the ground with a massive explosion of dust and debrie as Fauna came down and came over to see how Fufu was doing, panting heavily.

"Ha..ha..that was...a good match, you've certainly grown, Fufu and I'm proud of that" She smiles softly.

There wasn't much Fufu could do about it. Fauna-Sensei's sheer speed outclassed her own by so far that despite easily being able to track and predict her movements, Fufu simply couldn't force her body to act quickly enough to do anything about it. It created the odd sensation of watching someone beat the hell out of her in what seemed to be slow motion, and yet, she was moving in slower motion. The blows came so swiftly that Fufu could hardly grunt before another struck her, and it was almost an instantaneous transition from standing comfortably on her feet to being completely unconscious on the ground.

Fauna carefully lifted up Fufu, brushing the girl's hair a little.

"You did well, Fufu, I'm glad we got to spar today" She said softly before she shot off, holding Fufu bridal style and using her enhanced strength and speed while she still had the gate open to reach the hospital in little time at all. Fauna took her to a bed and explained to the medical ninja what happened as she came down from her aura and the gates and collapsed onto the floor as the bones in her body broke and for her to start bleeding due to shutting down the gates. Fortunately, the black blood would already start working on repairing the internal bleeding, but her bones wouldn't be healed for a little while and so, Fauna was helped into a bed by Fufu while they were both treated, more Fufu then Fauna since Fufu took the full force of Fauna's 4th gate hidden lotus and would wait for Fufu to wake up, allowing both the doctors and her black blood to regenerate her body.

Fufu dreamed about kittens and squirtles while she lay unconscious. Externally, doctors had to repair some broken ribs and torn muscles, and upon further inspection, a ruptured kidney - to the doctors of Tsukigakure, however, this was a cake walk, and within a few hours, Fufu would awake, extremely sore, but otherwise business as usual. As she gained awareness, Fufu would look at Fauna and ask in a rather weak but innocent voice, "Did... did I win?" before laughing awkwardly and fumbling her fingers around the end tables for a glass of water left to her by one of the nurses. When it was noticed that Fufu was awake, the medical staff came rushing at her, holding medical tools like weapons and insisting she be tested, and she had not the energy to argue and simply lay there while she was poked and prodded.
